Welded-on pieces and sleeves for steel piping

Connecting shaped pieces are made of ASTM A105 steel. They are shaped for immediate welding on a pipe without necessity of any further grinding in a site and they are equpped with two threads: the external thread is used for screwing a flat valve, and the internal thread is used for screwing a plug at the end of the working operation.

In the thickness of the connecting piece / shaped piece, buffer flat is deepened, it ensures perfect tightness of the valve in contact with the O-ring in the lower part of the valve, with possibility of easy manual tightening.

The mentioned system is applied for DN 2"- 2"1/2- 3"- 4"- 5", while for DN 6", the system with a flange is instead of threads. The sealing system against pressure is with O-rings on a flat surface, while flange centering is achieved by a snap system tongue-groove to carry out perfect hole cutting and easy insertion of a threaded plug. To facilitate plug screwing, it is done removing on 360° of the thread beginning with trapezoidal cross-section, both inside the shaped piece, and on the bottom and upper part of the plug, thereby beginning of screwing at the full cross-section is achieved.
